We have had great success placing tilted hex top Nobel implants (as in the All-on-4 technique) in severely resorbed mandibles. The implants are fitted with angled multiunit abutments to hold a tissue bar. Previously unmanageable lower dentures then derive support and retention by holding to the bar. Patient satisfaction has been tremendous!
