Eye Exams: How Often?


Experts recommend these things for keeping your eyes healthy:
  • wear sunglasses that protect against UV light
  • don't smoke
  • maintain a healthy weight
  • control diabetes
  • keep blood pressure and choloesterol in check
  • eat a healthy diet
  • exercise
Get your eyes checked:
  • ages 40-54:  every 2-4 years
  • ages 55-64:  every 1-3 years
  • ages 65+: every 1-2 years
