Practical Uses for Toothpaste

According to Reader'sDigest Extraordinary Uses for Ordinary Things:  A little dab of toothpaste will shine leather shoes.  Toothpaste removes lipstick from clothing, crayon from walls, and water marks from furniture.  With an old toothbrush, polish your diamond.  It will shine and clean bathroom chrome, tile and sink.  It also cleans ivory and plastic piano keys.

Things to remember:  Rinse paste from clothing.  Wipe paste residue from hard surfaces with a damp cloth. These cleaning tips work best with non-gel toothpastes.  Fun facts!
